Centretown/Golden Triangle

Ideal for students who want to be close to the excitement that the city has to offer, have access to public transit, and who might be moving from a big city OR want a taste of a bigger city.

Shops, restaurants, the mall, and the Elgin Street nightlife are at your doorstep! The Centretown/Golden Triangle neighbourhood is perfect for those who enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city. But still want a quick and easy commute to campus. 

The Glebe

Ideal for students who want to live off-campus while being around fellow students.

Just south of downtown Ottawa, The Glebe is a vibrant neighbourhood that’s perfect for Carleton students. Offering close proximity to campus, small businesses, and great eats and drinks (including the famous Kettleman’s Bagels that’s open 24/7), you’ll never get bored of this eclectic area. 

Chinatown

Ideal for students who want to be surrounded by different cultures, cuisines, and affordable housing!

Chinatown is a cool neighbourhood full of diverse cultures, food, and people. It is tucked away but close enough to the action that residents walk, cycle, or take transit to wherever they need to go. This area is fun, convenient, and offers tons of personality. You won’t want to miss out!
