Perhaps you’ve explored your options for finding clubs and found too many of them to choose from, and now you don’t know which ones to apply to. If you look at the Mohawk Student Association clubs, faculty clubs, or even independent clubs that your fellow Mohawk peers created, there are way too many options to choose from. Our team will make sure you don’t miss out on the top Mohawk Student Association clubs to join! Every student can join these clubs; they are not restricted to any particular faculty or program.

Women in Technology and Trades (W.I.T.T.)
Are you interested in careers in the technology and trade sector? What if I told you that only 5% of women work in skilled trades? Perhaps you would like to be the one to encourage other women to pursue careers in these fields.
If so, then you should join the Women in Technology and Trades club. Despite its name, this club is open to all staff and students, regardless of gender, race, religion, or background. This club was formed to promote women’s interests in careers relating to these sectors and to encourage, support, and educate them. They aim to explore career options, mentor young professionals, and cultivate relationships.
You should definitely apply to be a member of this club if this sounds like something you’re interested in being a part of!
BVP Club (Blogging, Vlogging and Podcasts)
Podcasts and blogging are two of my favorite things. Actually, sometimes I also create vlogs about my life. You might be doing something similar, or you might be fascinated by this. We have all been inspired by social media influencers who write blogs or create vlogs and podcasts, but we don’t know where to start.
Now there’s a club for you to join to help you get started or improve your skills! Check out the BVP club to get connected with other students who are interested in the same thing as you. In this club, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the digital world while collaborating with other students who are also interested in growing their digital footprint.
This club is open to everyone, and they cannot wait to help you figure out how to inspire others through the worlds of blogging, vlogging, and podcasting!
Mohawk College Open Music Club
It has long been known that music is a mood booster and that it brings everyone together, no matter the situation. The power of music has always been present in every aspect of our lives, whether it’s to make friends at concerts and festivals, to celebrate a birthday or a marriage, or to reminisce with loved ones who’ve passed away.
The Mohawk College Open Music Club is a great place for you to get involved if you find music helps you to cope with life. The members of this club created it with the intention of building community. In this club, students will have the opportunity to express themselves through music while helping others gain experience in the music industry.
You should apply if all you’re looking for is a place where you will be able to express yourself through the power of music.
Mohawk Student Design
Just like music, other people choose to express themselves through other forms of art such as graphic design. The graphic design industry has grown tremendously as the world relies more on technology. The Mohawk Student Design Club is a great choice if you are interested in graphic design.
This club provides students with a venue for developing their skills and abilities to learn new techniques. No worries if you have no skills or are brand new to the graphic design community, the club’s members will guide you through everything you need to know. With this club, you will receive updates, tutorials, trends, and so much more. Learning more about graphic design is a great skill to have even if you’re not pursuing a career in it. Therefore, I suggest you take a look at this club and apply if you are interested.
Smash Bros
Do you enjoy playing video games? When you have school assignment troubles, do you play games to cope? Would you like to learn a new game or enhance your skills?
You’re in the right place at the Smash Bros. club! This club revolves around the game Super Smash Brother created by Nintendo. For those who don’t know this game, the goal is to battle against someone else by using your character’s super skills against them. The winner is determined by which character survives in the end.
With this club, you’ll learn new skills and tricks to become the best while having fun. Members of the club are always active, so you will always have someone to battle against. If you are looking for a fun club where you will be able to build new connections, then you should check out the Smash Bros club!
Planting Roots
Are you good at gardening? If you enjoy gardening, perhaps you would like to learn how to take care of plants.
You should check out the Planting Roots club of the Mohawks Students Association, as it is the only one that can help you learn about plants and how to take care of them. Whether it is fruits and vegetables or flowers, the purpose of this club is to encourage students to grow their own plants. Developing your green thumbs at this age will make it easier for those who plan on growing their own vegetables in the future. It’s no secret that I’d be excited to join a group like this, as I spend some time growing vegetables and fruits in my backyard.
If you are interested in learning this skill for the future, then I recommend joining this club. It is a great way for you and your family to save money in the future while staying healthy.
Mohawk Cyber Security Club
Cybersecurity sounds intriguing, doesn’t it? Wouldn’t you like to be able to protect your privacy on social media? Yes, I know that social media platforms have programs that protect our data from being hacked. However, knowing how to program and working with it makes it even more exciting.
There is no better way to learn about cybersecurity than by joining the Mohawk Cyber Security Club. The purpose of this club is to teach students about computer security and prepare them for a career in this field. It would still be useful to have this knowledge even if you don’t plan on making this your profession. Especially if your future career will involve the use of technology.
Regardless of the situation, protecting your privacy online is something everyone wants, and understanding it can make you feel more secure about the information you post on social media.
