George Brown College Entrance Bursary
The George Brown College Entrance Bursary has been established thanks to the generosity of several donors. Students in all programs in their first year of study who demonstrate financial need are eligible for the award.
Aditya Jha awards – Entrance Scholarship
The Aditya Jha Entrance Scholarship has been established thanks to a donation from the Aditya Jha / POA Educational Foundation. Students in all programs in their first year of study who demonstrate financial need are eligible for the award.
George Brown College Seniors’ Association Scholarship
The George Brown College Seniors’ Association Scholarship is available to all full-time students who are eligible for the award. Applicants must write a one- to two-page essay outlining their passion in their chosen area of study and how that interest will help them find work in the future. Students must also have a GPA of at least 3.0. While demonstrating financial need and is involved in the community.
Award for Community Service
The Award for Community Service was established thanks to a donation from Anne MacKenzie-Thompson. This award is offered to all George Brown students in any year of study for any program. The scholarship is open to students who demonstrate financial need, have overcome challenges to pursue their education at the college College, and are actively involved in the community.

These are awards that are granted by a specific academic discipline. This includes scholarships for students enrolled in the Centre for Preparatory & Liberal Studies, Centre for Business, Centre for Health Sciences, Centre for Hospitality & Culinary Arts, Centre for Community Service & Early Childhood, Centre for Construction & Engineering Technologies, Centre for Arts, Design & Information Technology, and International Centre. International Students Awards & Scholarships
International students enrolled at George Brown College can apply for these awards. However, each scholarship may have its own set of eligibility requirements. Here are some of the awards that are available:
International Student Scholarship
Full-time international students in any department with a minimum GPA of 2.5 who demonstrate financial need and meet challenges are eligible for the International Centre Student Scholarship.
International Student ESL Scholarship
International students enrolled in the third module of the ESL Program who are actively involved in the community are eligible for the International Student ESL Scholarship.

Athletics Awards & Scholarships
Students must be full-time students and George Brown College athletes to be considered for any of the offered athletics awards. Here are some examples of awards you can expect on this list:
Athletics and Recreation Scholarship
Student-athletes in all programs in any year of study with good standing with the team are eligible for the Athletic Scholarship Fund Award. They must have a 2.0 GPA minimum and demonstrate financial need, work ethic, teamwork, desire to participate in team activities, a positive attitude, and leadership qualities.
Varsity Athletics Scholarship
Varsity athletes on men’s or women’s varsity teams in any year of study are eligible for the Varsity Athletics Scholarship. The student must have a GPA of at least 2.0, be able to perform at a high level of athletic abilities, and have a good mindset in both academic and athletic environments.

Student Access Guarantee
The Student Access Guarantee scholarship is offered to George Brown students who apply in accordance with their individual application for OSAP with an outstanding need outlined by OSAP. To qualify, students must validate their income with OSAP.
