The University of Prince Edward Island offers undergraduate programs in Arts, Business, Education, Engineering, Mathematical / Computational Sciences, Nursing, Science, and Veterinary Medicine. All of which provide a genuine structure for any and all students’ future endeavours. Although all programs offered have the potential to produce substantial results, it is impossible to disregard the success rate of a few specific UPEI gems.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, held within UPEI’s Atlantic Veterinary College is largely known for their extrinsically high success rates. The DVM is fully accredited by the Canadian and American Veterinary Medical Associations, as well as recognized by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the United Kingdom. Each and every highly sought-after graduate is eligible for licensure not only in Canada, but in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand as well!
Out of the five veterinary colleges in Canada, the Atlantic Veterinary College is the only institution offering the education of doctors in veterinary medicine. Since the first graduate class of 1990, over 1,700 veterinarians have graduated from the DVM program. Additionally, such graduates continue to uphold higher averages compared to the North American licensing examinations (NAVLE) average.
