Residence living serves as the ideal transitional step towards independent living, therefore Mount Allison is equipped with various options when it comes to on-campus facilities. Students at MtA have the freedom to explore eight unique residences in hopes to scope out the best-fit individualistic living situation.
Campbell Hall
Campbell Hall is one of MtA’s biggest residences. Located on the north side of campus, it is a close and spirited community, housing up-to two hundred students, both male and female. Campbell Hall is equipped with four floors, a private fitness centre, as well as with three different room styles—single, double, and triple shared ensuites.
Windsor Hall
Windsor Hall residents consider one another family, and maintain a feeling of community throughout.
Located on the north side of campus, Windsor houses up to one hundred and forty-six students, both male and female. Equipped with five floors, it offers three different room styles—single private ensuites, single shared, and double shared ensuites.
Harper Hall
Harper Hall is home to some of Mount A’s most involved students. Located on the north side of campus, it is the only residence directly connected to the Jennings Dining Hall. Harper houses up to one hundred and eighty-seven students, both male and female (plus an all-girls wing). Equipped with five floors, it offers two room styles—singles, and doubles.
Hunton House
Hunton House is known for its small, and tight-knit family atmosphere. Located on the south side of campus, it houses up to one hundred and eight residents, both male and female. Equipped with four floors, it offers two room styles—singles, and doubles.
Bigelow House
Bigelow House, one of MtA’s smaller residences, offers a modern and social community. Located in the upper corner of the south side of campus, it houses up to eighty-five students, both male and female.. Equipped with four floors, it offers three room styles—singles, single shared ensuites, and doubles.
Bennett House
Bennett House, another relatively small residence, is known for its friendly, outgoing, and inclusive residents. Located near, and sharing an outdoor space with bigelow, it houses up to one hundred and two students, both male and female. Equipped with four floors, it offers three room styles—singles, single shared ensuites, and doubles.
Edwards House
Edwards House, although small in size, has a reputation for strong academics and creativity, offering a welcoming study environment, while making it easy to develop peer relationships. Located on the south side of campus, it houses up to seventy-four students, both male and female. Equipped with four floors, it offers one room style—singles.
Thornton House
Thornton House is known for its great balance between academics and social atmosphere.
Located on the south side of campus, it houses up to seventy-one students, both male and female. Equipped with four floors, it offers two room styles—singles and single shared ensuites.
